The article is a little overly pessimistic, in that it does not enough address the many benefits that come from making an investment.
A better title for this article would have been "Open Source is Not an Ideology or Religion".
I might be giving a talk soon (not on open source license, good lord no), so using my weblog would be a good way to find out what people want to hear from it.
No mention of O'Reilly's OSCON? Also: I'm increasingly less convinced that the principles of open source software apply neatly to other media.
