There was a sign up at Main St. that day too that spoke of delays at Granville Stn.

As I noted in the comments of a Metroblogging Vancouver post about a previous accident, there were ambulances, firetrucks, and one police car outside the station. I wanted to conduct some citizen journalism and find out what it was, but SkyTrain attendants weren't being very responsive to others who were asking, so I didn't press it.
I'm curious as to what sort of "maintenance" requires police tape...
Notice how you never read about suicide by Skytrain in the media but only from word-of-mouth and eyewitness accounts? Seems like Translink isn't too keen on letting the word out that people consider the Skytrain to be a viable suicide solution.
The above comments will not display in the recently updated section because they are syndicated directly from the Flickr photo.
stuff like this always makes me feel queasy

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Citizen Vancouver, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.
