Vancouver Folk Music Festival 2006 30-Second Video
I spent a few hours during the Saturday of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival Weekend, and took some 30-second video of some of the performances.
- Feist plays "Intuition" [torrent] on Stage 2. I ended up running into Colin while walking away from the stage, not knowing why so many people were headed in the opposite direction.
- Turntables and breakdancing [torrent] Not sure how breakdancing and turntablism are "folk music", but hey, we're all accepting here.
- Reggae at the Folk Music Festival [torrent] the only stage at which I danced, bumping into Sarah, who thoughtfully offered me sunscreen (which triggered flashbacks to a month previous while in Toronto).
- Afrodizz [torrent]
- Twirling a bhangra girl around her neck [torrent] This was one of the "stunts" they were demonstrating after teaching kids how to dance Punjabi-style. [r]
