Finished reading XML for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide by Elizabeth Castro.

Too practical, if there's such a thing. It's a short book, but it would have been nicer to have more in-depth history of XML and more applications of it other than the fictional endagered species ML. That said, the introduction to XSLT (which, I'll have you know, I pronounce "ex-slut") was eye-opening.
