I just posted a review of Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town by Cory Doctorow, which means I can start seriously reading Lifebox, the Seashell, and the Soul: What Gnarly Computation Taught Me About Ultimate Reality, the Meaning of Life, and How to Be Happy by Rudy Rucker. Not particularly dense-looking (the writing is accessible) though there are lots of ideas, just in the first 20 pages, that require thoughtful pauses.
