Hahaha!! I guess their algorithm says something like "Highways are always faster than local roads, so find the nearest entrance". Brilliant.

Any optimal map path solution involving a trip on the Lion's Gate Bridge uses a flawed algorithm. Only exception is between the hours of 11:00pm to 5:00am!
