Google Transit, which only currently works with the Portland, Oregon TriMet system

Google says "we plan to expand to cities throughout the United States and around the world", meaning hopefully Vancouver's Translink. [link]

Paul Hillsdon tantalizes us with a Google Transit/TransLink logo graphic. Google Transit for Vancouver in a couple of days?

Somewhat randomly, I got an email sent to a Yahoo! account I don't use, where they invited me to attend the announcement. They didn't say it was 'exclusive' or anything, so I posted the event listing to Urban Vancouver.
